Bircotes Leisure Centre is a joint use facility in the District of Bassetlaw. The Leisure Centre was constructed by the County Council and opened in 1976. The centre has an excellent reputation for sports based courses for children from 4 months upwards and plays a major role in the community by working in partnership and providing free or discounted use for several charitable enterprises, Youth Centre which is adjoined and the Kipper Clubm a local disabled club. Bircotes is very much a community based Leisure Centre and has a loyal following of customers, who like the friendly informal atmosphere that the site provides. We have forged strong links with the adjoining Bircotes & Harworth Community School and also have close liaisons with the County Council run Youth Club, which operates, from the site.
